Construction mechanic (m/f/d)

As a construction mechanic, you will manufacture steel and metal structures. To do this, you use manual and mechanical processes to fabricate individual components, e.g., from sheet metal, profiles or pipes and assemble them.

Your tasks

You will plan, prepare and organize tasks and coordinate the work with upstream and downstream departments within the company.
You will learn how to produce technical drawings and 3D models with the help of CAD software.
You will also be responsible for separating or cutting out sheets and profiles from CNC machines
You will connect sheets, pipes and profiles by screwing together, press fitting, riveting or soldering
You will have the opportunity to independently form sheets, e.g., straighten, bevel or bend, at times using thermal processes, and drill holes
You will learn how to fit components and assemblies and install drives and control elements
You will independently inspect metal structures in accordance with the maintenance and inspection plan, repair components, inspect and repair welded seams, and replace wear parts
You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing operating facilities, e.g., machines and tools, or inspecting electrotechnical components of control technology

Requirements

Mittlere Reife (general certificate of secondary education)
Interest in technical processes
Logical thinking
Good proficiency in mathematics and physics
Open and friendly towards other people
Careful way of working
