Categories, sources and origin of the data
As part of the application process, we may process the following personal data:

- Your master data (surname, first name, name affixes).
- Contact data (address, telephone number, e-mail address)
- Qualification data (resume, cover letter, degrees)
- If applicable, photo / work permit / residence permit / date of birth
Your personal data is generally collected directly from you as part of the application process.

It may also be that we have received your application via a personnel service provider with whom we work. In this case, we have concluded the necessary data protection contract. If you have any queries regarding data processing by the personnel service provider, we kindly ask you to contact your personnel service provider directly.
In addition, we use personal data that we have permissibly obtained from publicly accessible sources (e.g. professional networks).
You have the option of creating an account in our application tool as part of your application. This is optional and an application can of course also be sent without an account. The account offers you the advantage of being able to check the status of your application during the current application process, to upload additional documents at a later date, or to withdraw your application.
In addition, we may have received your contact information from a Leadec employee as a recommendation. In this case, you will receive an invitation by e-mail to apply for a specific position with us. If you then apply, the referrer can see whether you have actually applied. If you do not wish this, you can also apply directly via our application portal on the homepage.
When processing your data, we observe the principle of data minimization in that you only need to provide us with the data that we require to fully review your application documents, such as your resume, or that we are legally obligated to collect. Within our online application form, all mandatory data is marked with an *(asterisk). Without this data, we are unfortunately unable to review your application documents. Of course, you have the option of providing voluntary information in the application form.

In terms of data, your written application will be handled in the same way as an online application. Your original documents will be returned to you at the latest once the vacancy has been filled.

For technical necessity as well as for legal protection, we may also process traffic and connection data (e.g. your IP address).
For reasons of technical security (in particular to defend against attempted attacks), this data is stored in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f EU-DS-GVO. Anonymization takes place by shortening the IP address so that no reference to the user is made. Please also note the separate information on the use of web tracking tools below.
Purposes and legal basis of data processing
We are aware of the importance of your data. Your personal data will be processed exclusively for the purpose of contacting you as well as effective and correct handling of the application process and for contacting you as part of the application process (Art. 88 para. 1 EU-DS-GVO in conjunction with Section 26 para. 1 BDSG).

In addition, we process your data if we have a legal obligation to do so, in particular from employment law. In the case of special categories of personal data pursuant to Art. 9 para. 1 EU-DS-GVO, a balancing of interests also takes place, i.e. data processing only takes place if your interests worthy of protection are not overridden (Art. 88 para. 1 EU-DS-GVO in conjunction with § 26 para. 1, 3 BDSG).

Your consent also constitutes permission for data processing. Therefore, if you have given us your consent (e.g. to pass on your application documents to other company units), we will also process your data for this purpose (Art. 88 (1) EU-DS-GVO in conjunction with Section 26 (2) BDSG).

If we obtain consent from you, we will inform you about the specific purpose of the data processing and, of course, you have a right of revocation at any time. Details on how to exercise your right of revocation can be found under the heading "Your rights as a data subject". If the consent also relates to the processing of special categories of personal data pursuant to Art. 9 EU-DS-GVO, we will expressly inform you of this in advance.

Recipients of the data / categories of recipients
In our company, we ensure that only those departments and persons receive access to your application data that need it to carry out the application process or fulfill legal obligations.

If you apply for a specific advertised position in Leadec's applicant management system, your data will be processed by our central HR department and, if applicable, by the responsible HR managers (e.g. manager, works council, if applicable) of the company advertising the position.
In addition, your applicant data will be passed on to affiliated companies.

will only take place within the scope of your consent. You have the option here to select in your application whether you are applying only for the specific vacancy advertised, throughout Germany or throughout Europe. If you choose the latter two options, your application can be compared with other vacancies by our recruiting team and then made available to the relevant company in Germany or throughout Europe so that you can be contacted by this company if necessary or apply for other positions yourself. In addition, your application can be found by the respective companies via a keyword search. If you submit an unsolicited application to our applicant management system, your data will be used - for the purpose of evaluating your potential - by our central HR department and, if applicable, by HR managers in the affiliated companies that are suitable for you - based on your qualifications profile and your selection in the application process.
In addition, our specialist departments are supported in the performance of their tasks by external service providers (e.g. IT or HR service providers). The necessary data protection contracts have been concluded with all service providers who process personal applicant data on our behalf.

Otherwise, data is not passed on to third parties unless we are obliged to do so by mandatory legal provisions (disclosure to external bodies such as supervisory authorities or law enforcement agencies).
Storage period of the data
We store your application data until the application process is completed or we no longer need your data for the above-mentioned purposes or you have revoked your consent.

Should we enter into an employment relationship with you, we will continue to store the application data relevant for this purpose, insofar as they are relevant for the implementation of the employment relationship.

In principle, routines have been created to ensure that data is deleted after the purpose for which it was collected no longer applies or after the underlying retention period has expired. Your applicant data is therefore deleted in the event of a negative decision
deleted after a country-specific period.

In the event that you have created an account, this will also be deleted again in accordance with these periods after completion of the (last still open) application process.

Third country transfer / third country transfer intention
Data is only transferred to third countries (outside the European Union or the European Economic Area) if you have given us your consent to do so or if this is required by law. Compliance with the level of data protection is thereby primarily ensured by an appropriate contractual framework under data protection law.

We do not (currently) transfer your personal data to any service provider or group company outside the European Economic Area.

Secure transmission of your data
In order to protect your data from manipulation, loss or destruction, the Leadec group of companies and all affiliated companies use technical and organizational measures that are continuously improved in line with technical progress.

For the digital application process, we use the SAP SuccessFactors Experience Management Suite of SAP Deutschland SE & Co. KG (Hasso-Plattner-Ring 7, 69190 Walldorf, Germany) for the technical execution of the application data and documents.
SAP merely provides the technical platform and does not use the data itself for its own purposes.
The data exchange from and to our website is always encrypted.  We offer HTTPS as the transmission protocol for our website, in each case using the encryption protocols. Your application documents are transmitted through our application system, also encrypted to us.
Obligation to provide the data
The decision whether or not to establish an employment relationship with you can only be made if you provide us with certain personal data, such as your CV, work or qualification certificate, salary details, language certificates, data on availability, etc.. In doing so, we naturally observe the principle of data economy and data avoidance in that you only need to provide us with the data that we require to fully review your application documents or that we are legally obligated to collect.

Unfortunately, we cannot review your application documents without this data.

Of course, you have the option of voluntarily providing us with additional information in your application documents.
Automated individual case decisions
We do not currently use any purely automated processing processes to bring about a decision.

Social media links
On our website you will find links to the social media services of YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram and Twitter. You can recognize links to the websites of the social media services by the respective company logo. If you follow these links, you will reach Leadec's corporate presence on the respective social media service. When you click on a link to a social media service, a connection is established to the servers of the social media service. This transmits to the servers of the social media service that you have visited our website. In addition, further data is transmitted to the provider of the social media service. These are, for example:
- Address of the website on which the activated link is located.
- Date and time when the website was called up or the link was activated
- Information about the browser and operating system used
- IP address
If you are already logged in to the corresponding social media service at the time the link is activated, the provider of the social media service may be able to determine your user name and possibly even your real name from the transmitted data and assign this information to your personal user account with the social media service. You can exclude this possibility of assignment to your personal user account if you log out of your user account beforehand.
The servers of the social media services are located in the USA and other countries outside the European Union. The data may therefore be processed by the provider of the social media service in countries outside the European Union. Please note that companies in these countries are subject to data protection laws that do not generally protect personal data to the same extent as they do in the member states of the European Union.
Please note that we have no influence on the scope, type and purpose of the data processing by the provider of the social media service. For more information on the use of your data by the social media services integrated on our website, please refer to the privacy policy of the respective social media service.

We would also like to point out that your data may be processed outside the European Union.
Purpose and legal basis
We ourselves maintain the fan pages in order to communicate with visitors to these pages and to inform them about our offers in this way.
In addition, we collect data for statistical purposes in order to be able to further develop and optimize the content and to make our offer more attractive. The data required for this purpose (e.g. total number of page views, page activity and data provided by visitors, interactions) are processed by the social networks and made available to us. We have no influence on the generation and presentation.
In addition, your personal data is processed by the providers of the social media, but also by Leadec, for market research and advertising purposes. It is possible, for example, that usage profiles are created based on your usage behavior and the resulting interests. This allows, among other things, advertisements to be placed within and outside the platforms that correspond to your interests. Cookies are usually stored on your computer for this purpose. Independently of this, data that is not collected directly on your end devices may also be stored in your usage profiles. The storage and analysis also takes place across devices; this applies in particular, but not exclusively, if you are registered as a member and logged in to the respective platforms.
Beyond that, we do not collect or process any personal data from your use of our service.
The processing of your personal data by Leadec is based on our legitimate interests in effective information and communication pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f. EU-DS-GVO.

If you are asked for consent to data processing, i.e. if you declare your consent by confirming a button or similar (opt-in), the legal basis of the processing is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a., Art. 7 EU-DS-GVO.
Your rights / possibility to object
If you are a member of a social network and do not want the network to collect data about you via our presence and link it to your stored membership data with the respective network, you must
- log out of the respective network before visiting our fan page,
- delete the cookies stored on your device and
- close and restart your browser.
After logging in again, however, you will once more be recognizable to the network as a specific user.

As a matter of principle, we do not compare the data here. In addition, we have no influence on the data processing at the respective provider. Google Maps
On this website we use the offer of Google Maps, a map service of Google LLC (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; "Google"). This allows us to display interactive maps directly on the website and enables you to use the map function conveniently. The processing and transmission of your data (IP address, connection data) to Google is based on your express consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) p. 1 lit. a EU-DS-GVO.
If you have consented, information about your use of our website (such as your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. This occurs regardless of whether Google provides a user account through which you are logged in or whether no user account exists. If you are logged in to Google, your data will be directly assigned to your account. If you do not want the assignment with your profile at Google, you must log out before activating the button. Google stores your data (even for users who are not logged in) as usage profiles and evaluates them. Such an evaluation is based on your consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. a EU-DS-GVO and enables the display of personalized advertising, market research and / or tailored design of the website.
You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future. To do so, simply call up our Consent banner and deselect the relevant cookie(s). Please note that the change in the Consent Banner settings must be made individually for each end device.
The data processing on the part of Google for the provision of the content takes place in part outside the European Union and the European Economic Area. Compliance with the European level of data protection for data transfer and processing in third countries is ensured by corresponding contractual regulations and guarantees. Data processing or storage in third countries can also take place on the basis of your consent (Art. 49 para. 1 p. 1 lit. a EU-DS-GVO), in which case you will be informed separately of this, as well as the possibility of revocation, when obtaining your consent.
If you do not agree to the future transmission of your data to Google in the context of the use of Google Maps, you also have the option of completely disabling the Google Maps web service by turning off the JavaScript application in your browser. Google Maps and thus also the map display on this website can then not be used.

You can find more information on the collection and use of data by Google in Google's privacy policy at www.google.com/privacypolicy.html. There you also have the option in the Privacy Center to change your settings so that you can manage and protect your data processed by Google.

YouTube videos
We have integrated YouTube videos from the provider Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) into our online offering, which are stored on www.YouTube.com and can be played directly from our website. These are all integrated in "extended data protection mode", which means that no data about you as a user is transmitted to YouTube if you do not play the videos. Only when you play the videos, the aforementioned data is transmitted. We have no influence on this data transmission. By embedding the video in extended data protection mode, no cookies requiring consent are set that record user behavior in order to personalize video playback. However, enhanced privacy mode only applies to the collection of user behavior, not to ad delivery, as well as the reloading of additional third-party content, font transfer, and possible links to your user account on YouTube. When you start the video, this triggers further data processing operations. We have no influence on this. The legal basis is your consent, Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. a EU-DS-GVO.
Some of the data processing on the part of Google takes place outside the European Union and the European Economic Area. Compliance with the European level of data protection for data transfer and processing in third countries is ensured by corresponding contractual regulations and guarantees. Data processing or storage in third countries can also take place on the basis of your consent (Art. 49 para. 1 p. 1 lit. a EU-DS-GVO), in which case you will be informed of this separately when obtaining your consent.
By visiting the website, YouTube receives the information that you have accessed the corresponding subpage of our website. Data transfers take place regardless of whether YouTube provides a user account via which you are logged in or whether no user account exists. If you are logged in to Google, your data will be directly assigned to your account. If you do not want the assignment with your profile at YouTube, you must log out before activating the button. YouTube stores your data as usage profiles and uses them for the purposes of advertising, market research and/or demand-oriented design of its website. Such an evaluation is carried out in particular (even for users who are not logged in) to provide needs-based advertising and to inform other users of the social network about your activities on our website. You have the right to object to the creation of these user profiles, whereby you would have to contact YouTube to exercise this right.

If you have a user account with Youtube / Google and are logged in, a link to this can also be established and a user profile created by assigning the data to your account. If you do not want this assignment, you must log out of Youtube / Google before accessing our pages with Youtube content. Please note that an analysis of your data is also carried out when you are logged out. This is done to provide tailored advertising and to inform other users about your activities on our website. We have no influence on any of these data processing operations.
These processing operations are carried out on the basis of your consent pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. a DS-GVO. Through your consent via Consent-Banner, all Youtube videos embedded on our website will be made visible to you and the content will already be loaded when you access the page. You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future.
Unless you have given your consent to the use of embedded Youtube content, the content is blocked on our pages. To protect your data, we use this so-called two-click solution. All YouTube content is disabled by default and will only be loaded and displayed by the YouTube servers after you click on the "Enable content" button. With this click, you agree that, for example, your IP address, referrer information and browser data are transmitted to YouTube and that cookies are set in your browser.
For you, there is the possibility to give your consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. a EU-DS-GVO for the retrieval of individual videos. The setting will be stored for 30 days. You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future by reloading the website.
For more information on the purpose and scope of data collection and its processing by YouTube, please refer to the privacy policy. There you will also find further information about your rights and setting options to protect your privacy: www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy .

Cookies are small text files that the Internet browser stores on the user's computer. These cookies lose their validity after 30 days and are not used to personally identify the user. If the user visits certain pages of this website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and we can recognize that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page. Each Google Ads customer receives a different cookie. The cookies cannot be tracked across Google Ads customers' websites. The information obtained using the conversion cookie is used to create conversion statistics for Google Ads customers who have opted in to conversion tracking. The clients learn the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page tagged with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive information that personally identifies users.

You can find more information about Google Ads and Google conversion tracking in Google's privacy policy: www.google.de/policies/privacy/.

You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. If you deactivate cookies, the functionality of this website may be limited.

You can also revoke your consent at any time for the future. To do this, simply call up our Consent banner and deselect the relevant cookie(s). Please note that the change in the Consent Banner settings must be made individually for each end device.

In addition, you can install the plug-in provided by Google at the following link: www.google.com/settings/ads/plugin install.

Google Ads Remarketing
We use the remarketing function of the Google Ads services. This enables us to show users of our website on other websites in the Google advertising network (e.g. in Google search or on YouTube) advertising that is geared to your interests. For this purpose, your interaction with our websites is evaluated, for example, what content you are interested in, so that you can be shown advertising that matches your interests on other websites you visit, even after you have visited our pages. Google stores cookies for this purpose on the device with which you visit Google services or websites in the Google Display Network. These cookies are used to record your visits to the site. The cookies identify the web browser on a specific end device, but not a specific person, i.e. not you as a user.

Due to the use of the described tools, your browser automatically establishes a direct connection to Google servers, which may also be located outside of Europe (in the USA). We have no influence on the scope and further use of your data collected by Google through the use of this tool. To our knowledge, Google receives information via Ads Conversion that you have called up certain contents of our website or clicked on one of our ads. If you are registered with a Google service, Google can assign the visit to your account(s). However, it could also be possible that Google obtains and processes personal data from you (e.g. your IP address), even if you do not maintain an account with a Google service or maintain such an account but are not logged in.

General information about cookies can be found under "Cookies" in this privacy policy.  Information on data protection at Google can be found here: www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy and you can prevent participation in this tracking by alternatively:

- make a corresponding setting in your browser that suppresses third-party cookies. You will then no longer receive ads from third-party providers.
- install the plug-in provided by Google at the following link: www.google.com/settings/ads/plugin
- disable interest-based ads from the providers that are part of the "About Ads" self-regulatory campaign via the link www.aboutads.info/choices, with this setting being deleted when you delete your cookies
- disable third-party cookies permanently in your Firefox, Internetexplorer or Google Chrome browsers using the link www.google.com/settings/ads/plugin
- deny your consent to this in our consent management tool "consentmanager".
If you choose one of the above options, however, you may not be able to use our pages or not to the full extent.

The legal basis for the processing is your consent Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. a EU-DS-GVO, § 25 para. 1 TTDSG. You can revoke your consent at any time for the future. To do so, simply call up our Consent banner and deselect the relevant cookie(s). Please note that the change in the Consent Banner settings must be made individually for each end device.

Unfortunately, without this data we cannot conduct an assessment of your application documents.

Of course, you have the option to voluntarily provide us with additional information in your application materials.
